Last updated: July 27, 2026
Overview
Slay That Site provides digital services that involve planning, strategy, creative work, technical implementation, consultation, and time-based expertise. Because much of this work begins before a finished deliverable is visible, refunds and cancellations are handled according to project stage and scope.
Consultation and Audit Work
Paid consultations, audits, strategy sessions, and roadmaps are non-refundable once the session has happened or the audit work has started. If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours before the booked time.
Website, SEO, and Content Projects
For fixed-scope projects, deposits or advance payments reserve project time and begin discovery, planning, and production. Refunds are not available for work already completed, time already reserved, third-party costs, research, strategy, design drafts, development, or content already prepared.
Cancellation Before Work Starts
If you cancel before any project work has started, we may refund the unused amount after deducting payment gateway fees, administrative effort, and any booked third-party costs. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible.
Monthly Services
Monthly retainers for SEO, content, optimization, reporting, and growth support can be cancelled before the next billing cycle. Work already completed during the active month is not refundable. Access, files, reports, and deliverables prepared up to the cancellation date remain subject to the agreed scope and payment status.
Third-Party Costs
Domain names, hosting, plugins, stock assets, software subscriptions, ad spend, tools, and other third-party purchases are non-refundable once purchased or committed, because they are controlled by external providers.
Project Pauses and Delays
If a project is delayed because required content, feedback, access, or approvals are not provided by the client, timelines may shift. Long pauses may require a revised schedule or reactivation fee depending on the scope and delay.
How to Request a Cancellation
To request a cancellation or discuss a billing concern, email contact@slaythatsite.com with your name, project details, and reason for the request. We review requests fairly and respond with the next steps.
Important Note
This policy provides general service terms for Slay That Site. Any signed proposal, invoice, or written agreement may include additional terms specific to that project.
